January can be depressing because everyone is broke, with no plans, and overwhelmed with all the family drama the Holidays can bring about. Since there’s almost zero social conflict and people need a pick-me-up, it’s a great time to throw a party. I threw this party in the second weekend in January, and here’s my post about it!
I’m thinking sinceeveryone (including yours truly) tends to be dieting from all the December over-indulgence, my menu will have lots of raw foods, good proteins, and greens.
Cranberry Spinach Salad
- Spinach Leaves
- Blue Cheese (can be served on the side if you have Vegans)
- Balsalmic Vinaigrette Dressing
Crudites and Hummus
Grilled Skewers – Lightly seasoned Chicken and Beef with peppers and onions
Light Brie with grapes
Vodka – Tonics/ Diet Tonics with lemons from our yard (they’re in season here in CA)
Red and White Wine
